"The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER) proudly hosted a successful workshop on Web Application Development on May 18, 2024. This highly anticipated event saw students go through a registration process, resulting in around 100 participants who were eager to deepen their understanding of the technologies that power the web applications integral to modern life. Refreshments were provided, and certificates were awarded to the participants.

The workshop featured Mr. Md. Sahal, an Associate Software Engineer from Brain Station 23 PLC, one of the leading software companies in Bangladesh. Mr. Sahal provided invaluable insights into the world of web development. His hands-on approach allowed students to actively engage and learn, fostering a collaborative environment. Shakila Shafiq, lecturer of the CSE department, hosted the event, ensuring smooth proceedings and engaging interactions throughout the workshop. Students were grouped in threes to facilitate collaborative learning and maximize the hands-on experience. This setup proved to be highly effective, allowing participants to work together, troubleshoot issues, and share knowledge in real-time. The workshop underscored the importance of web applications in our daily lives and highlighted the technical skills required to develop them. By providing a platform for students to interact with an industry expert, NITER reinforced its commitment to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application.

The event concluded with a speech from the head of the CSE department, Umme Sara Madam, who expressed her gratitude to Mr. Sahal for his contribution and praised the students for their enthusiastic participation. She highlighted the institute's ongoing efforts to provide such enriching opportunities to its students, preparing them for successful careers in technology.

Overall, the workshop was a resounding success, reflecting the high standards of education and innovation at NITER. We look forward to organizing more such events in the future, continuing our mission to inspire and educate the next generation of tech leaders."
