Purbani Group and NITER sign an MoU to achieve SDG

With the aim of achieving excellence to promote sustainable industrialization, Purbani Group and National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER) signed a MoU. Also, to build resilient infrastructure, and foster innovation & research, developed merit for the industry to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Bangladesh to contribute towards the economy and society.

Purbani Group is one of the largest & oldest established 100% export oriented Textile conglomerates in Bangladesh since 1973 and doing business for more than 4 decades with eminence.

It has vertically integrated textile manufacturing company and title holder of 12 business groups involve in Spinning, Yarn Dyeing, Fabrics Manufacturing & Dyeing and Ready Made Garments. Under the MoU both the institutes will work closely for industrial projects and assignment, Textile Research and Development, capacity building of NITER students and Purbani Group. Also, to provide corporate and factory exposure for students and faculty through Industrial engagement etc.
