Muaz Rahman is an Assistant Professor in Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research.

Muaz Rahman completed his Bachelors program in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2014 and the Master of Engineering Science (M.Eng.Sc.) from the Curtin University, Australia in 2017. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at Electrical and Electronic Engineering, National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER), Constituent Institute of the University of Dhaka, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh since January 2020 to the present. The main interests of his research are Smart Grid Technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning, AI, Hybrid Renewable Energy System, Energy Storage System, Energy Management Strategies, Blockchain, and Data Science.
