Md
Mamun Ur Rashid, born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He got BSc in Electrical &
Electronic Engineering (EEE) degree from Dhaka University of Engineering &
Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh in 2007 and MSc in Telecommunications
Engineering from the University of Trento, ITALY in 2017. He worked at IBAIS
University as a Lecturer at the Department of Electrical & Electronic
Engineering for more than five years. Before that, he worked another two private
organization as an Assistant Design Engineer and Service Engineer respectively.
Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor & Head, Department of
Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) at National Institute of Textile
Engineering and Research (NITER) affiliated by University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
His main research areas are: Smart grid, Microgrid, Power systems, Renewable
energy.
