Md. Abidur Rahman Nibir is a
Bangladeshi textile engineer and academic currently serving as a Lecturer in
the Department of Textile Engineering. He specializes in spinning and is
pursuing his Master of Science in Yarn Engineering at the Bangladesh University
of Textiles (BUTEX), where he also completed his Bachelor of Science in Textile
Engineering with a specialization in Spinning in 2024. His earlier academic
journey includes completing his Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) from in
2018 and his Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) from Nawab Habibullah Model
School and College in 2016.
In addition to his academic
roles, Md. Nibir has gained practical industry experience through an internship
and short-term employment at Matin Spinning Mills PLC, where he was actively
involved in spinning operations, bale management, and production processes. He
possesses a diverse set of technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft
Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, SPSS for statistical analysis, and
programming in C and Python. His professional interests focus on yarn
manufacturing and process optimization, the impact of raw material quality on
yarn properties, automation in spinning mills, and statistical modeling in
textile production. He is fluent in both Bengali (native) and English
(proficient), which supports his academic and professional communication
effectively.
