Department of Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE)
Kamrun
Nahar has been working in the department of Sociology at National Institute of
Textile Engineering and Research (NITER) which is a constituent institute of
University of Dhaka since 27 November, 2018. She is actively servicing in this
institute as a lecturer. She is also serving the institute as an assistant
hostel superintendent of NITER girl’s hostel. Besides teaching, she is very
much enthusiastic about expanding her research skills among engineering
students. Her research interests include human rights, minority issues, women
rights, industrial impacts on environment and society, culture, socialization
etc.
She completed her B.
S.S. in Sociology from the department Sociology in 2015 (exam held in 2016) and
M. S.S. from the same department in 2016 (exam held in 2017) from the
University of Dhaka. Her M. S.S thesis title was “Hindu Women’s rights to
Inheritance: Challenges”.
