On 26 May, 2024 a three member delegates of the country's renowned and export oriented garments manufacturer AKH group visited  NITER to foster collaboration between AKH group and NITER.

AKH delegates were Aruna Wijerathne (from Srilanka), Chief Human Resource Officer; Md. Rashed Khan, Sr. Manager (HRD) and Md. Rajib Hossain, Sr.Officer (HRD). This visit aimed to discuss the possible opportunities of providing industrial visit, internship and job facilities for NITER students. The delgates also expressed their interest to organize job and other skills development seminar/workshop. Honourable Director of NITER Professor Dr. Mohammad Junaebur Rashid welomed the delegates and expressed his enthusiasm for stronger and effective industry academia collaboration. Head of the department of TE, FDAE, EEE and Convener of CRIR also joined the meeting. The short visit of the delegates came to an end with a visit of various Laboratories of NITER.
