Md. Washim Akram, has
been working as an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Textile Engineering and
Research (NITER). Prior to that, he served as a merchandiser for the
prominent Bangladeshi clothing company “Al-Muslim Group” from 2014 to 2018. He
developed the skills necessary to seamlessly connect the business and education
sectors. He earned a B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from Dhaka University of
Engineering & Technology and M.Sc. in Textile Engineering from the
University of Dhaka. His master's thesis was "Fabrication and
Characterization of Antimicrobial Wound Dressing Nanofibrous Materials using
PVA-Betel Leaf Extract," & has highly research interest in Nanotechnology,
Bio-Composite Materials & Polymer, Recycled Waste Materials etc.
