About CRIR
The Center for
Research and Industrial Relations (CRIR) is an important wing of the
National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER), dedicated to
advancing the institution's mission and vision. On March 15, 2014, it was
established as the "Research and Development (R&D)" wing, after
that, it changed to the Center for Research and Industrial Relations
(CRIR) on February 26, 2015.CRIR has two primary goals. Firstly, it places a
strong emphasis on ensuring academic excellence through a variety of
opportunities to students, including industrial visits that provide practical
insights and exposure. Secondly, it actively promotes valuable industry
collaborations, involving faculty members in developing vital partnerships
between academia and the corporate sector. Furthermore, it organizes job fairs
where companies offer on-spot recruitments of qualified candidates. CRIR
also hosts a variety of seminars and workshops, spanning from
research-oriented to professional, to enhance knowledge and expertise of
the faculties and students.
