Rahima Akter holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in English Language
and Literature from Comilla University, Cumilla, Bangladesh. She is currently
employed as an Assistant Professor of English at the National Institute of
Textile Engineering and Research (NITER). Prior to this appointment, she served
in similar capacities at the University Women’s Federation College, Dhaka, and
the European University of Bangladesh, Dhaka. Her research interests encompass
English literature, South Asian literature, linguistics, cultural studies, and
feminist theory.
