Md.
Nur Alam Nahid is a Lecturer of the Department of Industrial & Production
Engineering (IPE) at the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research
(NITER), a Constituent Institute of the University of Dhaka. Mr. Nahid has
obtained his BBA and MBA degree from the Department of Accounting at the University of
Chittagong (CU). He is also a Certified Cloud Accountant. He is experienced in
popular Accounting Software- QuickBooks and Xero. He trained from CoderTrust
Bangladesh on Cloud Accounting.
Beside
education, he is a Sportsman. He was awarded in various sports events for
excellent role in university level. He has also contributed in society through
different voluntary activities. He is an Ex-General Secretary of Laksam-Monohargonj
Students’ Association of CU. He is a member of board of director of All
Students in One Platform (ASOP). He is also a founding Vice-President of
Accounting Sports Club, CU.
His
research interest is in Corporate Governance, Mobile Financial Services,
Capital Market, Financial Institutions, Environmental Sustainability, Efficiency,
Risk Management and Profitability. He has actively participated in many
seminars, workshops and training programs etc.
