Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning | Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are two closely related fields within the broader field of computer science. They deal with the development and application of algorithms and models that enable computers or systems to exhibit intelligent behavior and learn from data without being explicitly programmed. | N/A |
Operations Management | Operations Management is a field of study and practice that focuses on planning, organizing, and controlling the processes and activities involved in the production of goods and services within an organization. It involves overseeing the transformation of inputs (such as materials, labor, and capital) into outputs (products or services) effectively and efficiently. The primary goal of operations management is to optimize the use of resources, improve productivity, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products or services to meet customer demands. It involves making strategic decisions and implementing operational strategies to achieve operational excellence and gain a competitive advantage in the market. |

Supply Chain Management | Supply Chain Management (SCM) refers to the coordination and integration of all activities involved in the production and distribution of goods and services, from raw material acquisition to final delivery to the end customer. It encompasses the planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service aspects of a product's journey from its inception to consumption. The primary goal of supply chain management is to create a seamless, efficient, and cost-effective network that delivers products or services to customers in a timely manner while meeting their quality and service expectations. It involves managing the flow of materials, information, and finances across the entire supply chain, which typically includes suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and end customers. |

Manufacturing process and Materials Engineering | Manufacturing Process Engineering and Materials Engineering are two interconnected disciplines that play crucial roles in the design, development, and production of products. They involve understanding and applying the principles of materials science, engineering design, and manufacturing processes to create efficient and high-quality products. Manufacturing Process Engineering focuses on the selection, design, and optimization of manufacturing processes to transform raw materials or components into finished products. It involves analyzing the entire production process, identifying bottlenecks, improving efficiency, and ensuring cost-effectiveness. |
