NITER Journalists Association

NITER Journalists' Association is a student-led organization established on January 25, 2023,  at the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER), with a commitment to promoting campus journalism. The association unites students who are enthusiastic about reporting, writing, and media coverage within the academic environment.

Its members are actively engaged in covering campus events, publishing insightful articles, and shedding light on key academic, cultural, and extracurricular matters. Through news writing, interviews, photography, and digital content creation, the association plays a vital role in fostering communication, encouraging student expression, and upholding transparency across the campus community.

By serving as the voice of the student body, the NITER Journalists' Association aims to cultivate a culture of informed dialogue and media literacy, while also providing a platform for aspiring journalists to grow and thrive.


Activities:

1. Reporting campus events through articles, photography, and video journalism.

2. Conducting interviews with faculty members, students, and guest speakers.

3. Publishing news reports, feature stories, and student-led magazines.

4. Organizing workshops on media literacy and ethical journalism.
